Archive.is hilft noch effektiver beim Überwinden von PayWalls

Liebe Community,

da bei den faq von archive.is steht, das die IP übertragen wird und man nicht anonym ist, und dies für paywalls zu benutzen illegal ist, muss sich der Nutzer vor Strafverfolgung fürchten?

Falls er kein VPN etc. verwendet.

Bei der Anzahl von Personen welche diese Plattform nutzen, denke ich nicht das es bei einer Beschlagnahmung der Infrastruktur zu einer Strafverfolgung der Nutzer kommt.
Aber wenn die Seite schon selber empfielt, dass man einen VPN nutzen sollte, dann würde ich dem folgen.

Es könnte schon sein, dass den Verlagen das irgendwann zu bunt wird und die deswegen Strafanzeige stellen. Von daher lieber mit VPN, stimmt schon.

Sprich, die genutzte User-IP wird über archive.is (Proxy-Funktion) direkt an die Website der entsprechenden Zeitung etc. gesendet!
