ist der Zugang zu vielen Facebook-Büros ans Internet gekoppelt und demnach lahmgelegt

Vor ca. 20 Minuten stand der Facebook A-Record auf einer IP = 31.x.x.x
Ob das mal richtig war?!
Der Eintrag bei registrarsafe.com sieht auch doof aus !!
Der Ausfall heute, hat dem Zuckerzwerg mal eben 7 Milliarden Dollar an der Börse gekostet !! Weiter so, kann ich da nur sagen! 
BGP scheint langsam wieder zu funktionieren, das DNS-System baut sich auch wieder auf. WhatsDreck ist schon wieder erreichbar!
Sorry aber ihr könnt alle eher BGP als Dreck bezeichnen. So eine scheisse wie diese veraltete 30 Jahre alte Technologie sollte schon seit langer Zeit durch etwas neues ersetzt werden. Kein Wunder das sowas überhaupt passieren kann. BGP ist der letzte Müll und es gibt inzwischen schon Alternativen die eigentlich Potenzial hätten!
Immer wieder erstaunlich, zu sehen, wie fragil das alles ist. Mal kurz ausrechnen, wieviel Wochen man bräuchte 
ff7 gezockt? ein gezielter anschlag auf den "mako reaktor " 
Naja…hätten wir das einfach abgeschafft, hätten wir schon lange richtige Probs mit dem IPv4 Space. BGP läuft seit 11 Jahren so hoch granuliert, dass es dadurch nämlich erst möglich ist, von Jahr zu Jahr immer weniger IPv4 Adressen zu nutzen, ohne alles durchs NAT zu jagen!
Im Übrigen arbeitet BGP von der logischen Seite her ja ähnlich wie das DNS-System mit seinen Roots…dann kannste das ja auch gleich verbrennen, oder nicht!?

Das wird uns vmtl. wie ipv4 noch lange erhalten bleiben.
